On January 22nd, 2025, my dear brother Amit passed after 351 days of battling cancer. He fought with strength, a smile, and endless courage. This is a tribute to his unwavering spirit and the love that surrounded him.

Life's meaning isn't a specific answer but an infinite journey (Niranta); embracing this alongside the playful notion of 42 encourages us to find joy in the quest and accept life's mysteries without needing definite answers.

To power Niranta's significant energy needs, the blog concludes that combining three-phase and single-phase electricity lines with solar power supplementation offers the most efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable solution for the farmhouse.

Amit's pain was misdiagnosed for months until he was found to have advanced colon cancer. We learned the value of both intuition in diagnosis and excellent U.S. care, especially from nurses. This highlights the importance of listening to your body and timely screenings.

In India, cancer often carries a stigma, but Amit faced it with humor and strength. Supporting patients means treating them normally, offering help, and respecting their resilience, without avoiding or pitying them.

Amit and I threw a surprise 75th birthday party for our father, Jeevan Motgi, a year ago, filled with joy, laughter, and cherished memories. It was one of the happiest moments of our lives, especially as Amit was in perfect health then, making those memories even more precious now.

We're building a reliable UniFi network across Niranta's 4 acres, ensuring full coverage for all smart devices, with plans to use 5G or satellite internet if fiber isn't available, keeping our farmhouse fully connected and smart-ready.
